Anam Choir (formerly The VSW Choir) is a mixed voice community choir based in Wexford Town. We sing popular songs from the 1960s up to today and since we began in person rehearsals in February 2022, we have recorded songs and arrangements for local artists, performed to a sold out venue for our Summer Show, performed for Culture Night 2023 and other events around Wexford.

Testimonials
“The VSW Choir is like vitamin C for your soul! Sinéad is a fantastic teacher, the arrangements sound great and she always gets you to add that extra sauce onto the performance!” – Julie
“Since joining the choir, my vocal strength has definitely improved. I can hold notes for longer and reach notes I didn’t think I could. Sinéad focuses on the holistic, both in warm ups and throughout the session, ensuring that your voice is protected. What makes me happiest about being part of the choir is the freedom to make mistakes, rehearsals are fun, energetic and even on the darkest wintery evenings I look forward to going to choir practice. The song choices are brilliant, contemporary but always a bit different. As a music lover I had thought I would know all of the songs but Sinéad really goes out of her way to find songs that are interesting, challenging and cool.” – Selina
“Sinéad has a lovely way of making you feel at ease both in private or group sessions. Seeing the improvements through exercises, breathing techniques and having a bit of fun to boot helps build confidence. Recommend giving it a go.” – Rebecca
